Welcome!
This is the homepage for the Undernet Coder Committee. We are dedicated to producing high quality IRC software for the Undernet community. On this site you can find information on Undernet server development and access to the source code that is used worldwide to provide chat services to millions.
Contest!
The Undernet Coder Committee would like to announce a contest--we are seeking entries for a redesign of the Coder Committee web page. Contestants should place their design on a publicly accessible web server and submit the URL to coder-com@undernet.org no later than June 15, 2005. Each entry will be linked below, and a winner will be announced by June 25th. Entries may include the author's name or nickname in a page footer. The Undernet logo and button bar need not be a part of your design, as they will be added.

IRC II Scripts
Undernet provides a lot of extensions to the original client-server IRC protocol. Most clients do not yet support those extensions natively. In order to get the best out of Undernet you will want to use scripts to upgrade your client with the Undernet extensions. You can download an official Undernet IRC II script right here, which will add all Undernet specific features to your IRC II client.
Mailing List
You can subscribe to the public coder-com mailing list by sending an e-mail to coder-com-request@undernet.org with "subscribe" in the body. You can also unsubscribe at any time by sending mail to the same address with "unsubscribe" in the body.
